New User Account and Log In Information

If you are new to the site and/or the project, here are the basics:

• All State Geothermal Project members as listed on the contract or by request are to have an account to this site. Accounts on this site are project management accounts and permit the user to upload deliverables and receive notices on due dates.  All data collected from the project is publicly accessible.
• If you are unsure if you have an account, you can test this by attempting to log in using your user name (first initial last name - e.g. tsmith for Tony Smith) and the default password.
  • If you don't know the password, click Request new password (in the log in box or use the tab next to "log in" if you're on the "user/login" page) and then enter your user name or email address. The site will send you an email with instructions. If you get a message that the user account is not recognized, please contact the Project Coordinator, Kim Patten, to have an account set up for you.
• You can link your SGD.org account to another account (Aol, Google, Yahoo, OpenID or Blogger) AFTER you have successfully logged in and changed your default password.
  • To link an account, click Members and then Account Profile and you will see the "Linked accounts" tab. You will not be able to log in with another account until you have linked that account to the existing SGD.org account (this is why you must log in/activate your SGD.org account first).
